Claire McCardell Museum Visit!
In honor of the time-honored tradition that we used to have in the golden era of Parsons School of Design in NYC, before the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s current incarnation, the Junior year fashion student classes would go into this basement of the Museum with our professors and get to see the inside and outside of Claire McCardell’s beautifully crafted garments.
