Figure Drawing is a journey
⚡️FOUNDATIONS of FIGURE DRAWING⚡️ how about a five week, live group program training bringing you into fluency in #figuredrawing for #fashion, #costume, #illustration and especially profound personal experiences of satisfaction, discovery, curiosity, inspiration and joy??🤩 BODY LANGUAGE starts 3/8/2024 and runs for 5 Fridays on Zoom. We’ll start by creating a proportional framework for building a body (this works for ALL BODY TYPES this is not some “10 heads” fashion distortion course)…
Then we will take this structure, put it into practice and then slowly and intentionally UNDO the structure, as flow, shape, energy, feeling, form, and intuition take over.
And whenever we feel we’ve gone “too far” over the edge, we’ll come back to the structure as an anchor.
We’ll move back and forth between expansive exercises and grounding tools to bring a raw personal fingerprint into your work, find the voice that effortlessly flows out of you, and develop your relationship with it. This includes recognizing what you love about yourself and your expressions as well as which ones you reject, find “unworthy”, or believe have to change. In our sessions and the 5 week private course container, we can share and work through our beliefs about our sketches, our results, our relationship to our expressive voice , our creativity, our body, our art supplies, our careers and personal journeys in the arts and creative spaces.
I’m eager to meet each of you in this bite sized (2hours studio on zoom) for five weeks program (keep the replays for life) to be witnessed, grow, ask and practice and share in the realm of model drawing, art, style, and exploration. LINK IN BIO spaces are limited, first come first serve.

And that said, learning to DRAW in itself is a journey, and BODY LANGUAGE is a foundation for a lifetime of expressive communication and expression (and imagination) through the figure, poses, balance, movement, texture and form.

MINDSET in figure drawing for fashion (and beyond)
I believe that HOW WE LEARN is what matters most. The atmosphere and underlying message in any class, especially one that deals with expression and creatiity, can be encouraging, opening and healing, or ca potentially by damaging. I am here to create an atmosphere where you can come as you are and release limiting beliefs around what is possible for you and heal your relationship with your own expression- thus enabling it to flourish.
